Van GEISEN, Ferry
   THE DAILY SENTINEL-STANDARD, IONIA, MI, FEBRUARY 16, 1931:  "Mortuary - Ferry
VanGeisen - The home of Ferry Van Geisen, of Orleans township, was filled for
the funeral services conducted Sunday by Paul L. Stewart.  Fifty-two cars
accompanied the remains from the house to the Orleans cemetery, where the
interment took place.
   Mr. VanGeisen, a farmer of Orleans township vicinity a great many years, died
Friday night.
   Mrs. Albert Johnson and Mrs. Melvin Dalton were in charge of the flowers,
which were numerous and beautiful.
   Relatives, John VanGeisen, Glenn VanGeisen, Louis Campbell, A. M. Eaves, Asa
Treynor, and Wallace Haight served as bearers."
