The Ionia Standard, Friday, July 21, 1916
The funeral for Mrs. Frank Van Giesen of Orleans township, who died Friday 
morning, was held Sunday morning at 9:00 o’clock at the residence.  Interment 
in Easton cemetery.  Mrs. Van Giesen was 43 years old and had been ill for a 
long time with Addison’s disease.  She leaves besides the widower, four 
children—Frances, John, Lucile and Fannie, all living at home.
