RETHA M. VANHORN

Retha M. Susdorf VanHorn, 70, a former resident ofIonia died Friday at Munson
hospital at Traverse City .

She was born November 16, 1905.

Among her survivors are four sons, Gary Susdorf of Ionia, Bob and Harry of Mancelona
and Clarence of Coleman; four daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Ackley of Sumner, Mrs. Beulah 
Wiggins of Oil City, Mrs. Mary Nichols of Coleman, and Susan Moore of Forest Hill;
26 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and eight
brothers and sisters.

Services have been tentatively set for Monday at 3 pm at the Carter funeral home at
St. Louis. Family members will be at the funeral home Saturday and Sunday from 7 to 9
pm.
