The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, March 31, 1962

Funeral service for Mrs. Minnie M. VanHouten, 87, of route three, Lake Odessa, 
was held Friday afternoon with the Rev. Doug Gray officiating.  Mrs. VanHouten 
died Wednesday morning at a Lansing hospital following a long illness.

Bearers were Gerald Williams, Kenneth Lancaster, Alden Pritchard, John 
Zaukellis, Roy Winey and Henry Smith.  Interment was at Lakeside cemetery.
