The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, January 14, 1974
Rev. LaVail Maguire of Lansing officiated at services last Friday for Mrs. 
Clara E. VanHouten who died last Wednesday morning at a local nursing home.  A 
special solo was rendered by Sara Jackway, of Lansing.

Bearers were Gerald, Theo, Keith, Larry, Robert and Michael VanHouten, sons 
and grandsons of Mrs. VanHouten.  

A luncheon was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Keith VanHouten of Ionia 
following the service.
