Mrs. Vera A. VanKampen, 69, of route 2, Sheridan, died early Saturday morning at
Sheridan Community hospital.  She was born January 11, 1904, in Ionia county and
lived in the Sheridan area eight years.  She had previously lived at Grand
Rapids and Ionia.  She was a member of the Sheridan Congregational church.

Surviving besides the husband, John VanKampen, she leaves two stepsons, Walter
Moore of Belding and Robert J. VanKampen of Grand Rapids; two stepdaughters,
Mrs. Verna Spiece of Carson City and Mrs. Joyce Kleiman of Portage; 16
grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Stebbins funeral home at Sheridan.
 Interment will be at Green cemetery near Belding.
