They moved to Battle Creek May 1, 1906, where they resided until her death July 31, 1917, after two weeks of illness. Two children came to bless their home, Lurena and Graydon. About a year ago she united with the Methodist church since which she has been a faithful member. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, loved by all who knew her. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, two children, father, mother, five sisters and four brothers, besides a host of friends. The remains were brought from Battle Creek and funeral services were conducted by Rev. Dettwieler at the North Plains church. Interment in the North Plains cemetery.
