The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, April 16, 1966

A life-long resident of Ronald township, Mrs. Lena May Van Nornum, 86, died 
early Saturday norming at her home.

She was born November 9, 1979 at Lapeer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin 
Storum and was married in Ronald township to N. J. Van Nornum who died in 
1955.  Mrs. Van Nornum was a member of Palo Methodist church. 

Surviving are one son, D. B. Van Nornum of route one, one granddaughter and 
six great-grandchildren.  A daughter preceded her in death.

Services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m.at Stone-Kauffman funeral home 
with entombment at Highland Park mausoleum.

Transcriber’s Note:  There appears to be an error in the birth year, which 
occurred after the death date.  However, the obituary was transcribed as 
printed.
