J. VanNornum, 79, of route 1, a well known farmer of Ronald township, died Saturday. Mr. VanNornum was born December 22, 1875 in Ronald township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. VanNornum. He was married to Lena Storum and was a member of the Palo Methodist church. Besides his wife, Lena, he is survived by one son, B. VanNornum, of route 1, two granddaughters, four great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Ollie Luce of Kalamazoo and one brother, H. D. VanNornum of Marshall. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Stone- Kauffman funeral home. The Rev. Myron Clements of Hubbardston will officiate and entombment will be at the Highland Park Mausoleum. Subsequent Publication: Wednesday, December 7, 1955 Funeral services for N. J. VanNornum were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Stone-Kauffman funeral home. The Rev. Myron Clements of Hubbardston officiated and entombment was at Highland Park Mausoleum. Pallbearers were John B. Welch, Rex Hadley, T. J. Martin, H. E. Lemke, Barton Stout and Von Stout. Those attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Stackus of Boyne City, Mr. and Mrs. H. D. VanNornum and Mrs. Sadie Thunder of Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Carey and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lemke of Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Storum and family of Davison and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Kipp of Greenville.
