The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, April 7, 1950

Mrs. Lenora VanSickle, 42, of Newcastle, Ind., formerly of Ionia, and her 
husband, Jesse, were killed Thursday about 5:30 a.m. near Muncie, Ind., when 
their car struck a semi truck.  The car was said to have been completely 
demolished.

She was born in Allegan county in 1907, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd 
Ludlow of Rt. 3.  She moved from Ionia a few years ago. 

Survivors are the parents and a brother, Harold, of Dildine.

The body was brought to Ionia to the Myers funeral home Friday afternoon.  
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
