JENNIE VANSICKLE
LAKE ODESSA - Jennie VanSickle, 82, of Vermontville, died Monday, April 11, at
Provincial House in Hastings.

She was born June 5, 1905, in Grandville, the daughter of Harry and Josephine
(Kasteline) Bush. She attended Grandville schools and was married to Earl VanSickle on Feb. 16,
1928, in Grandville. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1978.

They lived in the Grandville area until June 1942, when they moved to a farm near 
Vermontville.

Survivors include two sons, Earl of Woodland and Robert of Lake Odessa; one
grandson; two sisters, Frances Mullenix of Fremont and Josephine Redbaugh of Wyoming.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Mark; three 
sisters, Dena, Elizabeth, and Marie; and one brother , Andrew.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. from the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake

Odessa, with the Rev. Clifford Randall officiating. Burial will follow in Grandville
Cemetery. Friends may meet the  family Wednesday fro 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Koops Funeral Chapel
