Services Held for Roy VanSickle

Roy R. VanSickle, 85, of Route 1 Vermontville, passed away early Saturday 
morning at the Grand Rapids Osteopathic Hospital. He was born October 18, 1882, 
in New York state, the son of George A. and Augusta (Howland) VanSickle. As a 
small boy he came to Michigan with his parents and was a resident of Grandville 
until moving to the Vermontville area 25 years ago. He was a retired carpenter.

His wife, Effie G. VanSickle preceded him in death in 1958.

Mr. VanSickle reposed at the Pickens Funeral Chapel in lake Odessa, where 
services were held on Monday, September 30, at 1:30. Rev. Einar Unseth 
officiated with burial in the Wyoming Township Cemetery.
