Mrs.VanSicklen had been sick but five days; the cause of her death bing sciatic rheumatism. The funeral was held from the Sebewa Baptist church last Sunday, Rev. Skentelbury of this village officiating. The remains were interred in Lakeside cemetery. She leaves a husband and two young children, one a boy aged six years, the other a four-year-old daughter. Lottie VanSicklen was the daughter of Mr and Mrs James A Ervay, north of town. She was born in Greenville on September 29th, 1871. George Ervay, of this village, is the only survivor of a family of five children. Three of his sisters dying ten years ago with diphtheria.
