VANSICLEN DIED EARLY MONDAY Clark E. Vansiclen, 65, Tupper Lake Rd., passed away at Pennock hospital, early Monday morning after being hospitalized about a week. He was born in Charlotte and came with his parents Jessie and Lottie Vansiclen to the local area when five years old and where he has since made his home. He had been employed by the local canning company. Surviving are his wife the former Doris Snyder, whom he married July 17, 1918; eight daughters; Miss Lucille Vansiclen, Mrs. Elmer (Eulah) Gostnell and Mrs. Clifford (Marcia) Fox of Lake Odessa, Mrs. John (Catherine) Roz of Detroit, Mrs. Kenneth (Fedors) Nassett of Saginaw, Mrs. Leon (Frances) Miller of Lowell, Mrs. Dale (Clara) Haney of Sheridan and Mrs. John (Martha) Shockey of Ionia; four sons, Elwood, Leland and Eugene of Lake Odessa and Arza of Belding, 26 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Bessie Warner of Plainwell. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
