Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard – Fri. April 23, 1948

Word has been received in Ionia of the death early Friday of Mrs. Milo 
VanSlyke, formerly of Ionia, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. Raymond 
Brown, of Monroe.

Services will be held in Monroe Sunday afternoon with interment in the family 
lot in Easton cemetery Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock.

The former Mary Dildine, she was born in Easton. She and her husband, a 
carpenter by trade, lived here for many years, moving away about 20 years ago. 
While here they were members of the Evangelical U. B. church.
