Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2002

Patricia Ann (Powell) VanSyoc, 68, of Peoria, Ariz., died Friday, Nov. 29, 
2002, at her home.  Pat was born April 24, 1934, in Ionia, the daughter of 
Stanley and Eleanor Powell.  She moved to Arizona in 1965.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jerry; their daughters, Lynn 
Grantham (Kent) and Lisa Ann; her grandchildren, Heather and Jeremy Grantham; 
and her brothers, Ron, Larry and Rex Powell.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be remembered for her kindness, 
compassion, beautiful smile and devotion to her family.

Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the 
American Cancer Society.
