Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, WEd., Dec. 31, 1941
Funeral services for Millard VanTassel, 77, of East Bushnell, who died 
Saturday, November 29, were held at 2 p.m. from the Stebbins funeral home in 
Sheridan. VanTassel was struck by a car on the streets of Lansing and died as a 
result of his injuries. He had been making his home in Lansing with Mr. and 
Mrs. Ralph Fields for the past few weeks while he built an addition to their 
home.

Surviving is one son, Dale, of Grand Rapids. VanTassel would have been 78 years 
old on December  __ and had lived most of his life in Bushnell township.
