Lake Odessa Wave-Times-Wed. Aug. 12, 1925

Little Raymond Van Tassell was born May 9, 1920, and died August 2, 1925, aged five
years, two months, twenty -four days. He was the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Van
Tassell of Lake Odessa and was a child of sweet merry disposition beloved by all who knew
him.

In a years time death has taken three little ones from our home.

He leaves besides his loving parents, two brothers, Kenneth and Charles Jr.. Two 
grandmothers and one grandfather, a brother Fieldon and a sister Betty preceded him
in death a year ago.

Among those from away to attend the funeral were Mrs. Edna Salters and Mrs. Fronia 
Hoover of Detroit, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hunter and other friends from Carson City.

CARD OF THANKS
We wish to thank the friends and neighbors, The pastor, Rev. Dawson, and also the
pall-bearers for the flowers, kindness and sympathy shown during the loss of our little 
Raymond. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Van Tassell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hummell.
