Lake Odessa Wave-Wed. September 1, 1982

WILMA E. VANTIFFLIN
KANSAS CITY. M.O-Wilma E. VanTifflin, 70 of 725 W. 121st St., Kansas City, Mo., 
died Aug. 24 in a nursing home in Leonexa, Kan.

She was born Sept. 20, 1911, in Woodbury, the daughter of William and Edith 
Perkins Shellhorn.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard in Sept. 1961.

After living for 40 years in Houston, Texas, she moved to Kansas City in 1980. 
She was a member of the United Methodist church.

Surviving are: a daughter, Mrs.Rosemary Carpenter of Kansas City; and three 
grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Lakeside Cemetery.
