Rev. F. J. Fitch officiated and interment was at the Palo cemetery. Mrs. VanVleck died Thursday afternoon March 5 at the home of her son, Leo R. VanVleck, East Washington Street after an illness of several months. Pall bearers were William Howe, Clark Reimer, Oliver Branian and Morris Kirby, Mr. Fred Boardman and Mrs. Guy Edenton had charge of the flowers and Mrs. George Tasker played the piano. Out of town friends and relatives attending were Mr. and Mrs. Charles VanVleck of Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Kenney of Saginaw, Mr. Harvey Straines, of Fenwick, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Evans of Lansing and Mrs. Bennett of Grand Rapids.
