Ionia Sentinel - Wed. April 1, 1885

Anna, wife of Cassius Van Vleck of Palo, died on Sunday.

Died on Sunday morning, March 29th, Anna, wife of Cassius Van Vleck. The 
funeral services were held in the Baptist church on Tuesday afternoon, and were 
conducted by Rev. Wm. R. Warner, assisted by Rev. T.H. Jacokes and Rev. H.C. 
Beals. There were a large number of sympathizing friends and neighbors who 
assembled to pay their last respects to one who a few days ago was enjoying a 
pleasant home and having a prospect of enjoying it for many years. Such I 
life, "like the evening cloud and the morning dew."  pg.8
