Daily Standard, May 5 1944
Final rites for Cassius VanVleck, 83, pioneer Ronald township resident, will be 
held Monday afternoon at 3o'clock at the Baptist church of Palo, following a 
prayer service at the home at 2 o'clock. Rev. Faulkner Mercer will officiate and 
burial will be in Palo cemetery.

The body will repose at the residence near Palo until time for services.
