Ionia Sentinel - 7 October 1963
Mrs. Myra VanWagner, 84, died Saturday afternoon at Belding Community Hospital 
after a lingering illness.  She was born in Otisco township, Ionia county, 
October 4, 1879, the daughter of Edgar and Adeline Hale Kilborn.  She had lived 
most of her life at the present residence at 10594 Button road, Belding.  Mrs. 
VanWagner was a member of Free Methodist church of Belding and was married 
February 19, 1916 to Jacob VanWagner who died in 1946.

Survivors include a son, Glen VanWagner of route three, Belding; four stepsons, 
Burton VanWagner of Lansing, Richard of Belding, Clarence of Rockford and Elvin 
of Belding; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Schlipkoski of Belding; one brother, Freman 
Kilborn of Belding; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon at Free Methodist 
Church at Belding with the Rev. Lawrence Gibbs and Rev. Lester Tice 
officiating.  Burial will be at Green cemetery, Otisco township.  The body will 
be at Huffman funeral home in Belding until Tuesday morning.
