Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, Oct. 31, 1967

Kirt Steven Vargo, 17-day old infant of Mr. and Mrs. Vargo, Jr, of 516 
Nicholson, died Monday at Ionia County Memorial hospital. He was born October 
12, 1967. Ionia city firemen were called to assist then the baby became ill 
Monday morning.

Surviving besides his parents are grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Sandborn, 
Jr, Mr. and Mrs. John Vargo, Sr. all of Ionia and Herbert Stobert of Lansing: 
great grandparents Mrs. Edwin Minaker, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Sandborn, Sr, Mrs. 
Elizabeth Vargo all of Ionia, Mrs. Harold Jolley of Grand Ledge and Mrs. Esther 
Stobert of Lansing: great great grandmother Mrs. Alvina Beckhorn of Ionia. 

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 am at Myers funeral home with Rev. 
Lowell Young officiating. Interment will be in Easton cemetery.
