Miss Emma Velte Passes Away

Miss Emma Velte, 93, route one, Woodland, passed away Tuesday night at her home 
on Velte road.

She was born in Woodland township, and her parents were Jacob and Mary Haines 
Velte and had always lived on the farm where she was born.

Miss Velte was a member of the Woodland Methodist church and  the WSCS of the 
church.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Miss Velte reposes at the Pickens Funeral Chapel, where funeral services will be 
held Friday at 3:00 with burial in the Woodland Memorial cemetery. Rev. Lawrence 
Lowell will officiate.
