Carol (Groenleer) Vereecken
Died Sunday December 26, 2021-age 79at the Oakes of Belmont.
Born February 19, 1942 in Grand Rapids.
Daughter of John and Jacoba (DeWitt) Groenleer.
Longtime member of St.Anthony Catholic Church in Grand Rapids.
Carol had a bubbly personality, contagious laugh & a beautiful smile.
She loved to dance & sing, watch sports especially for Michigan State.
She was active in softball, golf and bowling &enjoyed playing cards with 
friends.
Internment at Washington Cemetery in Grand Rapids.
Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association of Emmanuel Hospice.
Special thanks to the Sisters of St.Anns and the Emmanuel Hospice Team.

She was a bus driver for Grand Rapid Public Schools for twenty-eight years, for 
special needs children.
Survived by her children: Victoria L.(Time) Stepek, Tammi L.Punches, William G. 
(Prescilla Estrada)Vereecken, Theodore W.(Sarah) Vereecken and Robert 
J.Verecken, grandchildren, Nichole (Nathan) Shields, Hope (Zack Floyd) Stepek, 
Faith Stepek, Dedrik (Mandi) Punches,Westin Punches, the Vereecken's: Alicia, 
Zachary , Malaina (Chase Donahue) Punches, Tristan, Parker, William III, seven 
great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews, sister & brother-in-laws & many others.
Preceded in death by her husband, William G. Vereechen, parents, brothers, Carl, 
Larry & Ed Grroenleer, grandson Max Vereechen,& nephew Larry  Groenleer, Jr. 
Private funeral services will take place with Father Phil Shangraw Officiating 
at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
