Portland Review  - 24 Oct 1994
Franklin D. Vergeson,  61, of Portland died Oct. 17, 1994, in Portland.

Mr. Vergeson was born in Leslie Aug. 10, 1933, the son of Joseph and Florence 
Vergeson.

Survivors include two daughters, Gerrilinn (Terry) Tepfer of Sturgis and Gail 
Vergeson; three sons, Franklin (Tamara) Vergeson of Crystal, Otis Vergeson of 
Crystal, and Thomas Vergeson of California; 10 grandchildren; and three sisters, 
Martha Pixley of Haslett, Antoinette Bishop of Holt and Patricia of Florida

Services were held Oct. 19 at the Gorsline-Runciman Neller Chapel in Portland 
with Rev. elaine Buker of the Portland United Methodist Church officiating.  
Interment followed at West Sebewa Cemetery in Sebewa Township.  Casket bearers 
were Otis Veergenon, Franklin Veergeson, Terry Tepfer, James Vergeson, David 
Vergeson, and Randy Cobb.
