PASTOR BILL VERMILYA 1922- 2017
Pastor Bill Vermilya, July 10, 1922 - Jan. 3, 2017, passed away Jan. 3 2017 
at the home of his daughter at age 94. He was the son of the late Emery and 
Mildred Vermilya of Ionia. He was a marriage Counselor and Pastor all his 
life, continuing both after retirement. His wife of 67 years, Esther DeArmond 
Vermilya, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his son, Cam (Pam) Vermilya of Flint; daughter, Wilma (Jim) 
Anders of Upland, Cal.; grandsons, Cam (Kathy) Vermilya, Steven (Tammmy) 
Vermilya of Flint, Jim (Alison) Anders of Phoenix, AZ, Aaron Ohama of Upland, 
Cal.; great grandchildren, Kevin, Connor Vermilya of Flint, Akio, Akina Ohama 
of Upland, Cal., Oceana, Olympia Anders of Phoenix, AZ; several nieces, 
nephews, great nieces, nephews.

Memorial service will be held January 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. At Family Community 
Church of the Nazarene, 5366 S. State St. Goodrich, MI Pastor Gary Loudermilk 
officiating. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to family 
Community Church of the Nazarene.
