H. A. VETTER DIED WEDNESDAY ---------- Mrs.Bertha Vetter died Wednesday evening in Blodgett hospital in Grand Rapids after a short illness. Though she has been in failing health for several years, she was not taken seriously ill until about a month age. She is survived by her cousin Mrs. Chamberlain of Flint, who has made her home here much of the time during the past few years, and nephews and nieces. The body will lie in state at the Wortley & Baine chapel from this evening until Saturday afternoon when funeral services will be held at 2 in the chapel. The Rev. W. B. Paterson will officiate and burial will be in the family lot in Lakeside cemetery where her husband, the late Henry A. Vetter, son Paul, and daughter Isabel are buried. She was a member of the Lake Odessa First Congregational church, W.C.T.U., Order of the Eastern Star, the Woman's club, and was a Gold Star mother of World war I. Her husband had been a furniture and hardware dealer here about the time of the first world war.
