Lake Odessa Wave, 16 Jun 1932

Mrs. Nellie Vibber, mother of Cloid Kart of this village, passed away at the
Kart home Tuesday, June 7, after two years illness.  The last year she has been
cared for by Mr. and Mrs. Kart in their home here.  She suffered several strokes
of paralysis and died from the result of these attacks.

Mrs. Vibber lived in Lake Odessa until sixteen years ago when she moved to
Lansing where she remained until about a year ago.  Her first husband was Harvey
Kart and three sons Cloid, Laverne and Royal were born to this union.  After Mr.
Kart’s death she married William Vibber and a son Duell was born.  Besides these
she leaves a step-sister Mrs. Minnie VanHouten and a step-brother Sylvanus
Backus of Clarksville.

The funeral was held in the U.B. church last Friday, and burial was at Lakeside.

Years ago Mrs. Vibber united with the Methodist church here and sang in the
choir for several years.  She would have been 56 years of age had she lived
until July 6.
