Vibber, 81, died unexpectedly Monday at 1 p.m. at his home at 304 East Washington street following a heart attack. He was born in Osceola county March 5, 1880, the son of John O. and Elizabeth McMillen Vibber. Mr. Vibber was employed as a steward at Ionia State Hospital from 1908 to 1912. He was married in Detroit in 1915 to Sylvia McClow and made their home there until his retirement in 1952 when they returned to Ionia. While in Detroit, Mr. Vibber was employed 30 years as a real estate salesman and operated apartments. He was a member of First Methodist church of Ionia and a former member of Elks lodge of Detroit andKknights of Pythius of Ionia. He is survived by his wife; two stepbrothers, Ray and Mark Gates of Saranac, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted at Boynton funeral home Thursday at 2 p.m., by the Rev. Harold A. Jayne, pastor of First Methodist church. Burial will be at Palo cemetery.
