Ionia County News, 1 Oct 1942

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church, Sunday afternoon for Dan
Vibber, 78, a former resident of Berlin township, who died at his home in
Traverse City, Thursday night.  Mr. Vibber is survived by two sons, who live in
Traverse City; a daughter in Kalamazoo and several step-brothers and sisters,
and two brothers, Duell of Lake Odessa and Dexter Vibber of Detroit.  His mother
was the late Mrs. Clinton Gates and he spent his boyhood on the Gates farm east
of town.  Burial was made in Saranac cemetery.
