Ionia Sentinel, 30 Dec 1974
Clyde W. Vierk, 68, of 2770 Bonanza road, Lake Odessa, died unexpectedly from a 
heart attack at his home Sunday.

Born in Montcalm county March 7, 1906, he was the son of Will C. and Lillie Mae 
Keefer Vierk and attended the Belding schools.  He had been a resident of Lake 
Odessa since 1931 moving here from Muskegon.

November 8, 1933, he was married to Avis I. Russell and had worked in the 
Johnson’s farmers gas station 20 years retiring in 1970.

He was a member of the Clarksville Sportsmen’s club.

Besides the wife, Avis, he leaves a daughter, Alva Vierk of Ionia; two sons, 
Leonard at Rio; one grandson; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Comer of Fenwick.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Pickens-Koops funeral 
chapel, Lake Odessa.  Rev. Charles Dunbar will officiate and interment will be 
at Lakeside cemetery.
