Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. Aug. 9, 1951

PASSED AWAY AT HOSPITAL SUNDAY
Mrs.Lillie Mae Vierk, 78, passed away at Pennock hospital Sunday afternoon where she
was admitted Friday, following a stroke of paralysis at the home of her son, Clyde, east
of the village.

She spent most of her life in Ionia county and had lived at the son's home since
1932. Her husband, Will passed away March 4, 1940.

Surviving besides the son are a daughter Mrs. Arlie Schelter and three
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Pickens chapel with burial in
lakeside cemetery. Rev. A. J. Pitman officiated.
