AVIS I. VIERK

LAKE ODESSA-Avis I. Vierk, 79, of Lake Odessa, died Monday at Butterworth 
Hospital in Grand Rapids.

She was born on July 24, 1908, in Lake Odessa, the daughter of Albert and Annie 
(Kelifor) Russell.

She married Clyde Vierk in 1937, who proceeded her in death on September 29, 
1974.

Vierk is survived by two sons; Larry Vierk of Puerto Rico and Leonard Vierk of 
Lake Odessa; one daughter, Alva Vierk  of Ionia; one brother, Claude Russell of 
Ionia and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 30, at 1 p.m. at the Koops 
Funeral Home in Lake Odessa. The Rev. George Speas will officiate.

Burial will be a  Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Odessa.

Friends who wish to visit the family may do so on Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
and on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m.
