B. Vincent, died Tuesday, July 4th, of appendicitis. He was taken sick only last Thursday evening and after five days of acute suffering passed away. He was given the best of careful nursing and medical skill but it was of no avail. He was taken with a severe chill on the morning of July 4th and died about noon of that day. Leroy was the youngest son, being in the prime of youth, and fondly devoted to his parents and home. He was 13 years 2 months and 2 days old. His death comes as a very sad blow to the bereaved parents and family as only a few months ago Allie Vincent also died. He was a most excellent boy and gave promise of a bright future. The funeral service was held this afternoon at the house at 2 o’clock. Rev. A. Secord officiating, where a large number of friends attended the last sad rites. He leaves besides his father and mother two brothers and three sisters to mourn his untimely death. They being H. H. Vincent of Nashville, Mich., Earl Vincent, Mrs. Eugene Warner, Mrs. Bert Case and Jessie Vincent, all of this city.
