Ionia Daily Sentinel, 26 Dec 1956

Floyd Melvin Vincent, 54, of route one, Lyons died December 25 in Sheridan
Community hospital.  Born in Ionia, May 12, 1902 he was a son of David and
Bertha Vincent and was married to Nettie Winright of Ionia, June 17, 1921.

Surviving are his wife, Nettie; two sons, Duane at home and Larry of route one,
Lyons; a daughter, Mrs. Edgar (Beulah) Barrett of Ionia; three grandchildren and
one brother, Lloyd.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Lyons
Baptist church with the Rev. Maurice Horn officiating.  Friends and relatives
are being received at the family home, route one, Lyons until time of the
services.  Funeral arrangements are in care of the Shaw-Rivett funeral home, 
Interment will be in Lyons cemetery.
