Vincent, 77, of Paw Paw, formerly of Greenville died Friday afternoon at the home of her daughter under the loving care of family and Hospice. Marilyn was born on March 24, 1936 in Ionia, the daughter of Clarence and Margaret (Knouse) Laney. Marilyn was married on Jan. 31, 1953 in Ionia to Jerry Vincent and he preceded her in 2004. Marilyn was also preceded by her parents; two sisters, Janice and Brenda, and one brother Melvin. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and loved listening to old-time country music, especially Waylon Jennings and watching the birds and being with her best friend; Teddy Bear, the dog. She was a past member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding. Marilyn is loved and survived by her children, Debra Wagner, Diana and Robert Hancock, Jerri and David Verville; her grandchildren, David and Melissa Wagner, Brandon Hancock, Brock Hancock, Zachary and Angie Wagner, Ginger and Matt Neely Aaron and Jennipher Wagner, and James Verville; 15 great grandchildren; her sisters, Joyce Mireles, Donna and Ted Herig, and Cheryl Mireles; and her sister- in-laws, Donna and Jerry Ciganik , Mary and Hal Kreeger. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Saturday Aug. 24, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding with Father Darrel Kempf presiding. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church with a rosary being prayed at 12:30 p.m. at the church. Committal prayers will be in Ionia at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be given to In House/Great Lakes Hospice, 6120 Stadium Drive, Kalamazoo, MI 49009. Envelopes will also be available at the church or Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, where funeral care has been entrusted.
