Vincent, 68, of Greenville formerly Belding passed away Saturday, March 13 at his home. He was born April 17, 1935 in Ionia the son of Roy and Leona Townsend Vincent. He was a foreman at Indian Summer in Belding for 31 years retiring in 1990. Jerry was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, NASCAR racing, motorcycles and camping. He was married January 31, 1953 to Marilyn Laney in Ionia and she survives along with their three daughters, Debbie Wagner of Remus, Diana and Robert Hancock of Edmore, and Jerri and David Verville of Paw Paw. Jerry is also survived by seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Hal Kreeger and Donna and Jerry Ciganik all of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding with Fathers Troy A. Nevins and Phil Salmonowicz officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. with a rosary prayed at 8 p.m. at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Interment will be Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Ionia.
