Vincent, 80, Higbee street, Lyons, died early Saturday morning at Rogers rest home in Lowell. She was born December 27, 1879 in McBride, the daughter of James M. and Margaret Ward Booth. Mrs. Vincent's father was head sawyer for Colby and company saw mill at McBride. She came to Ionia with her family in 1884 and was graduated from Ionia high school with the class of 1900. For several years she taught in Ionia county schools and was married July 13, 1907 to John Arthur Vincent in Ionia. They lived their entire married life in Ionia county except 15 years spend in the rural Weidman area. Mrs. Vincent was one of six children and all precede her in death. She is survived by her husband, John; two sons, James B. Vincent of Ada, and John R. Vincent of Wacousta; one daughter, Mrs. Alfred (Esther) Rademacher of St. Johns; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral hoe with burial at Muir cemetery.
