Vincent, age 72, of White Cloud, Mich., went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday evening, November 3, 2007. He was born on May 24, 1935 in Lyons Township, Michigan to Floyd & Nettie (Winwright) Vincent. Larry served in the Michigan Army National Guard Heavy Weapons Company for six years. In 1969 he became the associate pastor at Lyons Baptist Church in Lyons, Mich., and from 1971 to 1975 he was the pastor at Bridgeton Baptist Church in Bridgeton Twp., Mich. He also worked 15 years for Continental Baptist Missions, and from 1982 to 1985 he was the pastor at Kingsley Baptist Church in Grand Traverse County, Mich. Larry was the pastor at Country Bible Church in Wooster, Mich. From 1990-1997, and he later worked for Interim Ministries. In 2003, Larry founded the White River Outdoor Association, and he was currently a member of First Baptist Church in Newaygo. On June 27, 1953 he married Geraldine M. “Gerri” Erridge, and she survives him along with three sons, Dan (Penny) Vincent of Lyons, Mich., Dennis (Sue) Vincent of Fremont and Rick Vincent of Newaygo; 14 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren; one brother, Duane (Meryl) Vincent of Greenville, Mich., and one brother-in-law, Ronald (Karen) Erridge of Lyons, Mich. Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Bea Barrett. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at First Baptist Church in Fremont, Mich. (51 W. Oak Street) with Pastor Make Holeman officiating. Interment will be in Sherman Twp. Cemetery, Newaygo County, Mich. Visitation will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday (today). Suggested Memorial: The White River Outdoor Association.
