  Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

          JAMES P.VISSERS

Died Sunday April 26, 1987-age 63 at Orchard Hills Hospital.
Born May 13, 1923 in Grand Rapids to Peter & Ethel (Hay) Vissers.
A U.S.Veteran of World War II.
Retired from Gibson's where he was employed as an electrician.
Surviving are his wife, former Leona (Lee) Babcock;two daughters, Michelle 
Vissers, Lakeworth,Fla.;Susan Vissers & her finace Kim Lumbert, Greenville; two 
sons, Greg Lakeworth, Fla., Jeff, Belding; a sister Mrs.Ray (Mary) Alanowski,
Grand Rapids.
Preceded in death by a sister, Mrs.Thomas (Emily) Walsh.
Memorial services are Thursday, at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home at 11 a.m. 
Rev. Father Charles R.Dauatremont & the Rev.Floyd McCrimmon, to officiate.
Visitation Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home where a rosary wake 
service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Special olympics.
