Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 3 Jul 1936

Mrs. Zoa Vogleson of Evanston, Ill. died suddenly of a heart attack June 23 at
her home.  Mr. and Mrs. Vogleson had just returned home after a visit with her
sisters who live here.  Mrs. Vogleson, who was born in Saranac, had been an
Evanston resident for 10 years.  She was a member of the women’s club of
Evanston, the university guild and the First Presbyterian church.

Surviving are her husband, who is Evanston’s branch manager of the Lumbermen’s
Mutual Life Insurance company; two daughters, Katherine at home and Margery a
social worker in Rochester N.Y., and three sisters Mrs. John Walter and Mrs.
Henry Harris, both of Saranac, and Mrs. L.G. Woodruff of Grand Rapids.  Dr.
Henry Seymour Brown former minister at the Lakeview Presbyterian church and a
family friend officiated.  Burial was made at Evanston cemetery.
