Grace Alice Stephenson Vogt, 93, passed away on October 2, 2005.  She was born 
on November 15, 1911 in eastern Kentucky the daughter of James and Eliza 
(Senters) Belcher.  She was an active member of the First Congregational 
Church of Portland until her illness.  Grace cherished her many church friends 
who were of great assistance to her. 

She was preceded in death by husbands, Dwight Stephenson and Fred Vogt; 
daughter Christine Hunter; her parents; two sisters; one brother. Surviving 
are her sons, James D. (Elizabeth) Stephenson of St. Johns, MI and Keith R. 
(Betty) Stephenson of Lake City, MI; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 
2 great great grandchildren; sister, Rusby Owens of Regina, KY; many nieces 
and nephews. 

Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were 
entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.  Contributions may 
be made to the First Congregational Church of Portland.
