She had been in ill health for some time. Born January 31, 1878, she was the daughter of Gustav and Louise Vogt of Stettin, Germany. November 6, 1902, she was married to George Vogt and the couple came to America in 1904. They were naturalized as citizens in 1909 and lived in Holland until 1919 when they moved to Ionia and their present residence at 519 Brooks street. Surviving her is the husband, George; four sons, Cpl. Bernard Vogt, now attending a school of army administration in Washington, Pa., Harry Vogt of Ionia, George Karl Vogt of Lansing, and Sg.t Verner C. Vogt, army air forces serving somewhere in England; a daughter, Mrs. Christel Olmstead of Saranac; four grandchildren and two sisters in Germany. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the residence. Rev. Paul Stewart will officiate and burial will be in the family lot in Highland Park cemetery. Stewart officiated and burial was in the family lot, Highland Park cemetery. Pallbearers were Henry Larson, Oscar Schumann, Durwood Olmstead, Harry Vogt, George Vogt and Cpl. Bernard G. Vogt. Attending the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Durwood Olmstead of Saranac, Cpl. Bernard G. Vogt of Washington, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. George Vogt and daughter of Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Webber, Mrs. Frieda Webber and Mrs. Eva Bentlage of Pontiac.
