The Ionia County News, Thursday, February 13, 1947


Charles Voorhies was born March 11, 1894 in Brown county, Indiana, and passed 
away at his home in Boston township Friday, Feb. 7, at 1:30 p.m.  He leaves 
his wife Helen, three sons and three daughters, five brothers and four sisters.

His funeral was held Monday morning at 10:00 o’clock from the Morris Funeral 
Home with Father Johns of Lowell officiating.  Burial was in the Saranac 
cemetery.
