On March 4, 1886 she was united in marriage to William Voorhis. To this union were born two children, Earl A. Voorhis of Arkansas City, Kan, and Mrs. Howard Pepper of Grand Blanc. In her early life Mrs. Voorhis became a Christian and united with the Baptist church in Dexter where she retained her membership until death. She was a regular attendant at the Congregational church here and a member of the United Brethren Aid society. She passed away after a short illnesss, December 3, 1940 at the home of her brother near Danville, Mich. at the age of 73 years. four months an 22 daysA Mrs. Voorhis is survived by a son, a daughter, six grandchildren, one sister Mrs. J. R. Jackson of Arkansas City, Kan, oe brother Frank Walker of Dansville, and a host of friends. Mr. Voorhis preceded her in death six years ago.
