The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, August 10, 1943

Richard H. Vosper, 52, of 329 East Main street, died Tuesday morning about 
4:30 o’clock in the University hospital, Ann Arbor, where he had been 
seriously ill for the past five weeks.  He had been in ill health for several 
years and for many months had received treatments at the University hospital.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Vosper of Ionia and was married to Miss 
Katherine Gallagher.  The couple had made their home in Detroit, Bois Blanc 
Island and Ionia.  He is survived by his widow, Katherine; one son, James of 
Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. John B. Chaddock of Ypsilanti and Miss Zaida Vosper 
of Chicago.

The body was returned to the Bradley funeral home, Ionia, and funeral 
arrangements will be announced later.
