VREELAND
Marlene G. Vreeland, aged 83 of Saranac passed away May 3, 2020. She was born 
November 15, 1936 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of Harold and Grace 
(Borgman) DeBois.

Marlene married Robert Vreeland May 28, 1971 in Saranac. Surviving are her 
children; Robert M. (Tawnya) Vreeland of Saranac, Shanda (Jeff) Schuster of 
Ionia, Denise (Greg) Tyler of Saratoga, FL., Barbara Mutchler of Saranac and 
Esther (Thane) Chipman of Belding. Grandchildren; Dylan Adams, Andy 
(Abbigale) Vaughn Bigalow, Hannah Charles (Cody Gallagher), Damian (Meghean) 
Parker, Katrina (Jason) Tjepkema, Glen Seals (Amy Visoke) Seals and Ashley 
(DeMario) Thomas. Great-grandchildren De Marcus, De Myra Thomas and Cameron 
Seals. Several Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 
husband Robert.

Cremation has taken place and there will be memorial services held Saturday, 
August 29th, 1:00 p.m. at the Saranac Community Church with Pastor Becky Poor 
Officiating. Interment in Saranac Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Lake 
Funeral Home in Saranac. Memorial contributions may be made to Saranac
