The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, December 4, 1916

Stephen Vrooman, aged 49 years, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. J. G. 
Beckhold, 660 East Washington street, on Saturday night.  The funeral will be 
attended at the above home, on Wednesday morning at ten o’clock, Rev. C. E. 
Hoag officiating.  Interment in Oak Hill.
